JO YOUNG & THE LONDON MARATHON
On Sunday 13th April I will be running the London Marathon in aid of Hook Norton Primary School and Macmillan Cancer Relief.
I am 43 years old, married to Bill and have lived in the village for about 12 years. We have 3 children; Olivia 13 years, Robert 11 years and Grace 9 years. Robert and Grace attend Hook Norton Primary School and Olivia is now at Chipping Norton School having attended Hook Norton previously.
I have been running and keeping fit for about 7 years now.
Why am I running the London Marathon? To raise money for Hook Norton School (because they desperately need extra resources for the children) and also Macmillan Cancer Relief (because I lost my Father to cancer many years ago) and of course for the Personal achievement.
